Anne Kessler lives in Point Arena California where she paints pastel landscapes and seascapes of Mendocino and Sonoma Counties. She is a pastel impressionist who uses color to carry her painter's message. She specializes in River Reflections which are particularly vibrant in the pastel medium. Some refer to her as a colorist. She uses exclusively Wallis paper Senelier Rembrandt schminke and unison pastels.
Anne Kessler also paints vineyards, barns, and farmlands. Her paintings are on permanent display at the Sea Ranch lodge. She also displays at Pangaea Restaurant now located in Gualala. She is particularly well know for her series light over water which are pictures of ocean waves in monet style. Art reviewers have had very good things to say about Anne Kessler.
